South Koreans volunteers clean up the beach covered with crude oil from the Hong Kong-registered tanker Hebei Spirit at Mallipo beach in Taean, about 170km (106 miles) southwest of Seoul, 08 December 2007. The tanker collided 07 December with a barge off South Korea's west coast and more than 10,000 tons of oil has leaked into the sea. South Korea's worst oil spill began washing onto beaches, coating the southwestern shoreline dotted with beautiful beaches and rich sea farms.
